Hi all,

You don’t need to thank me, I honestly had such a lovely afternoon with you all!

I was blown away by how passionate the children were and and how well they took all the information in and remembered it!

I can’t wait to see what they come up with for the display, and I can’t wait to work with them again in the future!

Thanks, Ashley Wharton.

Please could you pass this message on to the year 5 students.

I’ve just had a look through the work you have done for the Windrush anniversary and I am blown away by how amazing it all is!!! I can tell you have all put a lot of effort into making the display full of facts and colour. More importantly, you have done a great job at making sure everyone who reads the display knows how important it is to embrace each others differences. I enjoyed looking through your work and can’t wait to see it on display on Thursday! Thank you all so much for your hard work!

Thanks, Ashley Wharton.

Make Believe Arts

Thank you to Year 5

Dear Mrs Barker & all your Year 5 team

Thank you so much for your immense work in creating stories to film, so we can power up Astrid’s Time Machine. She’s very hopeful that all your creative stories and performances in the films  will be enough fuel for the Time Machine to start working again. So here’s hoping; otherwise I’ll have to find her more jobs to do at the London Museum of Artefacts!

We had such a great day with you on Thursday and hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

We’ll be in touch again in a few weeks, once the films are ready.

Thank you again

Mrs Bench, Astrid and Louis

Hoopstarz

I wanted to say thank you for having me in school the other day. I had a fantastic day, thank you for making me feel so welcome. Your children were well behaved, polite and all tried so hard, they were a pleasure to teach and are a credit to your school. Their skills were unbelievable and the enthusiasm was infectious. I hope they continue to practice and improve and I hope I can come back some time soon.

Look forward to working with you again

Ready, Set, Glow Day

What an overall fantastic glow day! I have loved today – the children and staff were absolutely fantastic. I hope everyone enjoyed it and it was a nice break from what I can imagine being a tough couple of days.

Many thanks,

Ebony

Skipping School

I wanted to thank you for inviting me back to St John’s to skip with the children.  It was an absolute pleasure to be at school all day.  I was made to feel extremely welcome from the moment I arrived and had a great time skipping with each class group. You are a top skipping school!

Every class that came into the hall showed beautiful manners, excellent listening skills, determination when skills got tricky and kindness to each other during paired and long rope skills.  I was able to teach a huge range of skipping skills across the day as behaviour was superb and their skipping skill level was above the average!  It was a treat for me to be able to teach lots of advanced skills.  Please also pass my thanks onto staff that came into the hall to help with their classes – many of them were super skippers themselves!

Hopefully you will have lots of happy skippers on the yard over the next few weeks swapping and sharing skills with their smiley ropes.

Happy skipping!
