The term began with a special note from Miss Bramley inviting us to be plant 5 sunflower seeds. We read stories and looked at some non fiction books about growing. We discussed what we would need to do to look after the seeds and to help them grow. The children took turns to help plant the seeds and with a sunny spot and a little bit of water our sunflowers began to grow into seedlings. As they grew bigger, we kept moving them into bigger pots until they were ready to move outside.
